2011 started with the continuation of Arab Spring. There are different impacts of Internet on Arab Spring but it has popped political radar worldwide. Internet Governance policy is now comparable to the climate change, migration and many more. The development could be illustrated by the various high level events such as London Cyberspace conference, Vienna conference on human rights; etc.

The Global media is also now referring it. India submitted a proposal to UN assembly regarding the formation of UN committee for Internet policies. Internet is been involved in politics on a large scale. It is been used by the highest political authorities .The most important usage of Internet Governance is the security.

The cyber security is high on diplomatic agendas. The online human rights are now more focused by the two major developments-Arab Spring and protection of privacy. Internet was blackout in Egypt. It was done to stop the political protest which were increased by the use of Internets.ICANN in 2011 reflects different view and approaches which internet should govern in the future. They are like management reform, resignation of CEO and the search of new CEO and new generic top level domains.

Thus in the near future all the major decisions would be dependent on Internet. Internet principles were proposed by OECD which constitutes Global Internet declaration. The US will introduce the intermediaries for the control of Internet content to stop online privacy act. Thus many new reforms are been made on Internet Governance which is beneficial to the world.
